Mark Elberg’s cheerful exterior belies a cheerful interior. A pub rocker from way back, Mark has fronted punk bands, rock bands, folk and country, busked through Asia, Europe and Scandinavia, backpacked from here to Tehran, and played 1000’s of gigs along the way. An observer of people and an interpreter of dreams, Mark is living his through playing music, and relishes the chance to interpret Troy’s lyrical musings with his trusty Telecaster. Embracing many styles of music, Marks influences range from Johnny Cash to Neil Young, Billy Bragg to Guy Clark, Rickie Lee Jones to Michelle Shocked, Rage Against The Machine, Harry Manx and Marc Ribot.
